Obit June 6 1975

Selesta Belle, 80, of Stockton, Mo, died 
Sunday at the El Dorado Springs Hospital.

She was born July 2 1894 at Glenwood Iowa to 
Jasper and Mary Ellen Gutherie.  She spent most 
of her life in Cass County in the Harrisonville 
and East Lynne community.

She was married to Asa Freeman Overturf June 1 1918 
and they had four children.  Mr Overturf preceded 
her in death January 20 1960.  She married Louis N 
Fitch, August 11 1966 and he preceeded her in death 
Feb 25 1970.

Survivors include, two sons: Richard N Overturf, 
Bartonville Ill and Jasper F Overturf, Independence, Mo;  
one daughter Mrs Hester Ellen Voris,  Stockton MO; 17 
grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Atkinson-Dickey Chapel, 
Tuesday, Rev Joe Brewster, Jr officated.  Burial was in 
the Clearfork cemetery.
